Wildlife Conservation Society 2 positions PAID

The Wildlife Conservation Society is looking for two paid interns to work in their Media Production Center on their Digital Photo Collection.

Description
The Wildlife Conservation Society’s Photo Collection is centralizing, merging, and streamlining its images in preparation for a web- and server- based system of Digital Asset Management. The intern will help organize photo assets to a live database by researching, adding, and updating information.

Key Responsibilities
Organizing, labeling, and cataloging digital photographs. Adding specified keywords, basic meta-tagging and other details to image files. Photo research (working with the WCS Library & Archives) for projects as assigned. Scanning as assigned.

College credit letter (if applicable), free parking, and admission to the Bronx Zoo. Working with 114 years of archival and current images of the Wildlife Conservation Society from glass lantern slides through digital images.

Hours and Pay
15 hours a week, $9.50 per hour
