Internship in cataloging at the Anti-Defamation League

A chance to work with professionals at one of the country’s premier human relations civil rights organizations. ADL is dedicated to stopping the defamation of the Jewish people and to securing justice and fair treatment for all.
ADL’s Library, Archive and Research Center is looking for an energetic, creative MLS candidate to fill an internship position in cataloging. The position is unpaid, but we will work with your university to ensure that you receive credit toward the degree. Preference will be given to candidates with experience and/or course work in cataloging. Hours and the start and end dates for the internship will be mutually agreed upon. ADL is located in midtown Manhattan.

Projects include:

Copy and original cataloging of books, pamphlets, electronic documents and DVDs using LC classification

Design and implementation of systems for special collections

Taxonomy development
