MTV internship

Time commitment: Flexible, but must take place on weekdays between 10-6. Minimum 16 hours per week, for ten week period.

Location: Midtown Manhattan

Responsibilities:-Digital archiving - involves cataloging of both photo and video material for MTV Networks archive. Video archiving includes logging, segmenting, clipping. Knowledge of broadcast media standards and terminology helpful.-Assisting with taxonomy development. Knowledge of industry cataloging standards preferred. (FRBR, EBU, Dublin Core, RDA knowledge particularly helpful).-Work with MTVN librarians on other projects as they arise.

Requirements: Student must be receiving school credit for internship hours. Position is unpaid.
