New Hyde Park-North Shore Lodge # 2107 of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks is seeking:

A
dynamic, positive, innovative current student, or recent graduate of a MLS
program, with background and/or course work in digitization, Web design and/or
database administration
·
Familiarity
with scanning – especially the use of the Canon LiDE220 Scanner and software
using a Mac Book Air
·
Able
to travel to the Lodge and work independently
·
A
collection of 250-300 photographs of the Past Exalted Rulers (Presidents) of
the various former Lodges will be scanned, and basic metadata added, into an
Excel spreadsheet database.
·
The
Lodge is able to offer a stipend of $15.00/hour [exclusive of travel expenses]
and a flexible schedule of weekdays, weekday evenings and weekends. There
is free parking on the premises.
