TEMPO Networks - Web Development / CMS Intern

TEMPO Networks, the Caribbean Television and Multimedia Network, is seeking a Web Development / CMS Intern to assist with its website, www.GotTEMPO.com. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college degree program and eligible to earn internship credit. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ensure consistency in site development, use our content management system (ModX), as well as to perform regular site updates.

This position will require comfort with XHTML and CSS, and some exposure to PHP and Javascript. Experience with other content management systems would also be extremely helpful.

Special projects will include formatting parts of the site for mobile and Google TV viewing, normalizing the site navigation, and perhaps developing web applications according to the intern's interests and abilities. This is not a graphics design or content development position. The intern should expect to gain significant corporate experience in an international media company.
