Gagosian Gallery is looking
for a current MLIS student to intern at its Madison Avenue location
this summer.
The intern will catalog
books according to in-house standards, manage inventory, enter new materials
into the database, maintain an orderly library and assist
with special projects as needed.
Candidates should be organized, analytic,
reliable, and able to work independently with little supervision.
A
background in contemporary art is desirable, though not required.
Must be
available 2-3 days a
week.
The internship is unpaid and may be taken for school
credit.
