(FT/Temp) Internship, Cohn & Wolfe – NY
Cohn & Wolfe, a top ten global public relations firm, is seeking highly creative, motivated candidates with an interest in public relations to work as a Library Science intern in our New York office.
We are looking for a team player who can deliver on results and is not afraid to think outside of the box. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong research and analytical skills. He/she must be detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to multi-task and prioritize under deadlines.
This is a paid position and all candidates must be available to work full-time (approx 40 hours per week) for a 3-6 month contract.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Help develop Cohn & Wolfe’s taxonomy and metadata
- Manage our knowledge management database
- Upload, sort, and tag Cohn & Wolfe case studies
- Support new business
- Understand business needs to continuously update content
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree candidate
- Library Science experience
- Experience with sorting and searching materials on a large scale basis
- Basic understanding and interest of the field of public relations and library science
- Some knowledge of Client(s) or practice area helpful
