Library Sciences Intern – Resource Library

Position: Internship, Resources Library

Job Description: The NYC Leadership Academy is looking for someone who is studying Library Sciences to intern with us to make our library more user-friendly, accessible (perhaps using some on-line technology).

Location: 45-18 Court Square, Long Island City (5 minutes outside of Manhattan). Near all major subways, trains, buses, and LIRR.

Resources Topics: Leadership, Accountability Curriculum, Instruction and Pedagogy, Learning Organization, Organization as a system, Child & Adolescent Development, School Community, School Culture/Climate, Communication & Strategy, Equity, Race, Class and Gender, Resource Allocation

Pay: Unpaid position. Could be used for college credit or to get great experience. Will provide reimbursement for travel.

Start Date: Ideally ASAP but flexible

Length: Ideally for the year but will be flexible

Hours: Flexible
